Scion and Cartel Debut "Pit Boss" a Race Team's Ultimate Pit Tool Concept

Scion and Cartel join forces to introduce the ultimate tool in auto racing, the "Pit Boss".  Based off of Scion's all-new 2012 iQ platform, the Pit Boss has been transformed into one of the most unique and exceptional tools a race team could ask for, hence the name "Pit Boss". 

The "Pit Boss" was unveiled at the 2011 SEMA Show in which it showcased features inspired by motorsports. Brand visibility was an important factor while building this vehicle, making every component built into the Pit Boss hard to miss.   Each involved brand brought a unique element to the Pit Boss's aesthetic and performance.  The Pit Boss's chop top design is one of Cartel's signature marks.  The striking two tone blue and black paint job hardly goes unnoticed.  Tire changes are essential while racing, so a specially fabricated steel frame tire rack was designed to hold two tires in the interior of the vehicle.  Snap-On Tools are stowed away in a specially designed toolbox drawer with a specially designed space for a floor jack molded into the rear bumper of the vehicle. 

The Pit Boss is a technologically able vehicle with its functions programmed through RED EYE Automation, so the driver has full control over vehicle with an Apple iPad®.  The Pit Boss comes equipped with a WiFi hot spot for instant access to the web from any desired location on the track.  Cutting edge technology, maximum visibility, and functionality are what Scion and Cartel hope to achieve with the Pit Boss.
